The rails, footboard, and slat support system are constructed of solid hardwood construction. The plantation-raised, kiln-dried rubberwood used in this design is very dense and the hand-rubbed finish yields a piece that is ultra smooth to the touch. Rubberwood is an eco-friendly alternative to conventional hardwoods that still maintains resistance to shrinking, warping, and cracking; as well as having a scratch resistance and hardness similar to more conventional hardwoods. This bed is designed to be used with or without a box spring. The bed also comes with the patented ThumNut assembly system allowing for easy set-up and has a Limited 10-year Manufacturer's Warranty. This bed is available in Twin, Full, Queen and Eastern King. The Twin has only one panel and the Standard King has 3 panels (not shown). The Full and Queen sizes have two panels (as shown).
